Pimlico Townhouse (2) London

Pimlico Townhouse (2) forms the upper apartment of a townhouse in Pimlico that our clients bought to convert into separate living quarters for two siblings who wanted to live together yet independently.

Our well-travelled international client had several ideas that she was keen to include into the house and that we used as the start pointing for some schemes. The fabulous blue and white hunting larder scene in the kitchen drew its inspiration from the Portugese azulejos in European churches that she had seen, whilst an original matador’s traje de luces set a decidedly Spanish tone in the sitting room that we then played to with antique posters of the flamboyant La Feria de Sevilla.

As with her sibling’s apartment below, custom joinery formed an integral part of the interior scheme. With her own extensive wardrobe and shoe and handbag collection, bespoke joinery was utilised throughout to ensure the maximum storage possible.
